Established in 1979 by Owen Ness and Michael Gallagher, Ness Gallagher is proud of it’s history and to be recognised today as a respected leading law firm and a trusted advisor in Lanarkshire. The firm has grown rapidly since it’s inception and we now have almost 30 staff and two offices.

We try to reduce our carbon footprint and to make a positive difference in all that we do. We invest in our staff and care about their wellbeing, reflected in the low staff turnover we have always had at the firm, with many staff being with Ness Gallagher for over 30 years.

With offices in both Wishaw and Motherwell, supporting our local communities is part of our ethos, and in recent years we have taken part in various fundraising activities, helping to support local charities and good causes. We act for St Andrew’s Hospice in Lanarkshire and participate in their annual Hospice Will Month where we write Wills for members of the public for free in return for a donation to the hospice. Ness Gallagher also sponsors Dalziel Dragons Rugby team in Motherwell and an academic prize at Clyde Valley High School in Wishaw.
