A Partner at Ness Gallagher, Edward has a reputation amongst his vast client base as a ‘trusted advisor’. Having started at the firm as a trainee almost 30 years ago, Edward is based in the Wishaw office and has a wealth of experience in private client and commercial matters and also acts for a number of charities and local credit unions.

Edward has considerable experience advising on residential sales and purchases, as well as dealing with commercial transactions, acting for landlords and tenants. He also frequently represents clients in court in commercial litigation cases including employment matters, partnership and shareholder disputes and works with businesses advising on acquisitions and disposals and company formation and contracts.

Edward also advises clients on the preparation of Wills, Estate planning, and Executry administration, helping them plan for their future.

When he is not in the office Edward enjoys running and has run the Glasgow Millennium Marathon as well as numerous half marathons and other competitive events.
